The Control Panel tab lets you launch control panel items that are installed by Windows programs.
To launch, click on the icon for the control panel that you wish to use.

reboot. Some Windows applications require a system reboot to complete certain tasks. Also, occasionally, Windows programs get stuck in indeterminate states where their behavior is erratic or unreliable. Both of these problems can be addressed without rebooting your Linux system.
The reboot tool will launch a reboot in the current bottle. This will stop all current Windows processes and start any tasks that are waiting pending a restart of the Windows system.
Run in bottle. In addition to control-panel applets, there are several other tools. Some of these are installed by CrossOver and some are installed as a part of the applications that you install. To start one of these tools or to run any Windows command-line in the current bottle, click the Run... button.

This is an easy way to start such tools as regedit (for editing the Windows registry), wincfg (for editing many Wine environment settings) or taskmgr (which displays a list of all the current Wine processes). |
